CloudYali uses service accounts to securely access and manage data from your GCP projects, allowing read-only access for billing analysis and monitoring. This guide will link you to the detailed instructions.

Overview of Onboarding Options​

GCP Cost Management Onboarding​

This onboarding method helps you set up GCP Cost Management by connecting your billing data with CloudYali. This allows you to track and manage cloud costs using BigQuery datasets and Cloud Billing export.

  • Who Should Use This?
    Use this option if you need detailed cost tracking and analysis for your GCP projects.

  • Features:

    • Set up a service account for realtime data collection.
    • Monitor cloud spend for your GCP projects.
    • Analyze detailed billing data using BigQuery exports.

Security Considerations​

  • Service Account Integration: CloudYali uses a dedicated service account for GCP integration, ensuring that CloudYali has access only to the necessary data for cost management and monitoring.
  • Permissions Required: Make sure to grant the Organization Administrator and BigQuery roles as needed.
